Swatantra Stores is a company started by Late S.Sukhdev Singh Walia after partition in 1949 and has steadily grown over six decades from a small backyard workshop to a small scale industrial unit registered with the Govt. of Punjab, established at Patiala.

Rakesh Walia, the present Director now personally manages the daily routine from designing to fabrication of the latest sports equipment for all disciplines covered under SPORTS, to despatch and proper installation at site with the help and guidance from the expert coaches, professionals, sports administrators and actual users.

Now, over a period of 64 fruitful years of our existence, having served almost all Premier Institutions of the Country in Govt. , Semi Govt. and other establishments, the National Sports Federations, State Sports Councils, Physical Education Colleges, Sports Authority of India, & its Centres all over India, Directorate of Sports in various states, we have learnt enough to bring out the best possible products in each sports discipline, with a seal of approval from the respective National Sports Federations, which was awarded to us after years of rigorous use of our equipment in various International & National sports events.

We have been most successful with the Organisers of Mega Events like the National Games, SAF Games, World Cup, Afro Asian Games, who besides relying on our quality products were totally satisfied with our services provided during the conduct of these mega events, no matter which part of the country these were conducted, on a complete turnkey basis right from equipments fabrication to their requirement, to supply, & installation at respective sites, dismantling and storage at proper place after the events were over ,which nobody in the country can provide, under one roof.
